I’m Erika, a Peruvian life photographer based in South Louisiana. That said, I’ll travel anywhere to document your familia.
Photography has always meant a lot to me. Growing up, my parents kept prints of me and my siblings in a plastic tub. I loved sitting down and looking through them while asking questions about those special memories.
Photography became even more special to me after becoming a mom. There are so many little moments you forget as an exhausted parent, you deserve to sit down with a cup of coffee and reminisce about of those little moments that make life wonderful.
My desire is to offer your family a comfortable environment where they can be themselves, have a great time together, memories that may one day even end up in your own plastic tub.

with me, your family will have time to slow down and enjoy the little things about each other that you may be missing out on in the rush of your routine.
Intentionality
I want to photograph your family, for sure. But most of all, I want to serve you and your loved ones. I want to be able to interact one-on-one with you and find reasons to laugh together.
My hope is for you to feel cared for when you receive tangible memories that say “your family story matters”.
I know it is a hassle to get the fam together. But it will be worth it. It is much easier and way more fun than you expect.
Just slow down, live in the present and enjoy every moment with intentionality.
